Committee Chairs

LaDonna Allen
Vanessa Williams
Justine Wilson
Co-chairs are responsible for all after-prom activities.  They coordinate the work of ALL committees ensuring that activities are accomplished on-time and within budget.  Chairs know what each committee is trying to accomplish and how to keep them on track.  They act as liason between the PTO, school and the after prom sub-committees and ensure meeting minutes are maintained.
 
Coordinate logistics of event.
 
Sandra Wagner
The volunteer coordinator assists all committees by identifying and recruiting volunteers.
Angie Farmer
Coordinates all bingo-related activities.  Activities include setup and clean-up of bingo area, recruiting bingo volunteers (8 to 10 workders that will work tables, take tickets, hand out bingo cards and call bingo), and running bingo at after-prom.
Carl White
Coordinates all casino-related activities.  These activities include setup and clean-up of casino, recruiting casino volunteers,   The casino is an action-packed event that provides students with the ability to play black-jack, poker, roulette and craps.

Coordinates all bag check activities.  This includes recruiting bag check volunteers, obtaining donated garbage bags (used to hold student's winnings), and setup/cleanup of bag check area.
Justine Wilson 
Big Games Chair is responsible for big game recommendations, selection of a vendor, contracting of the vendor and coordination of the delivery and setup of vendor equipment (to include identification of power requirements),

Ensures that decorations and games are planned for all activity rooms.  Responsibilities include recruiting volunteers, coordinating setup and cleanup of small game activities.
Decorations Committee
Laurie Vest 
Sets after-prom theme and produces theme-relevant decorations for all common areas.  Plans, buys supplies and makes all decorations for the common areas.  Reusable props and decorations are stored in the after-prom closet.

Coordinates all food-related activities.  This includes recruiting volunteers to prepare and serve food for the after-prom event,  planning a theme-related menu, purchasing as well as obtaining donated food and beverages. 
Sheila Spadey
Buys prizes for rooms, including "grand" prizes for each room as well as the casino store.  Gifts and prizes are organized with like prizes for all game rooms.   The prize committee is responsible for organizing and manning the casino store.

The printing committee is responsible for creating a theme-related packet.  Each packet contains "bull bucks" and activity tickets.  "Bull Bucks" are  "pretend" money that students can use to play casino games and purchase prizes at the casino store.  In addition to the money, the packets contain a map of the events, coupons for a free t-shirt and a free picture, multiple tickets to play bingo as well as other games/activities,.
 
Bull bucks are also provided to each casino dealer Money is recirculated from the small game rooms back to the casino dealers.

 The publicity chair is responsible for attracting community support and student participation in the after-prom event.  The chair is responsible for recruiting committee volunteers, establishing a publicity plan in coordination with the fundraising committee and the After-Prom co-chairs.

Coordinates with the Art Teacher to produce a design for the t-shirt.  A contest is held where art students can submit a design that is voted on by the After-Prom Committee Chairs.  The winner's design appears on the front of the t-shirt and a list of sponsors appears on the back.

Responsible for soliciting funds, conducting fundraisers and obtaining donations.

This committee is responsible for the security and safety of our volunteers and students during the after-prom celebration.

 This committee is responsible for scheduling and coordinating the end of the night activity.

 This group is responsible for setup and prep work that is performed on the Friday evening before After-Prom.  This is a large team so that it does not take a long time to get everything setup.
 Cleanup Committee

 This group is responsible for Sunday cleanup of after-prom decorations.  This requires a large number of people so that it does not take a long time to get everything pulled down and stored before school on Monday.
