Site Navigation:Home Page | Welcome to the offial home of the Phoenix Raceworx team! This site is our all about us and is a lasting legacy of trials and tribulations from our humble conception all the way to the finish line! Getting around the site is easy (well, you found your way here didn't you!), with all the links and stuff to the left. Have a click around and see what's been happening, check out the articles and photos, you could even read the team members' project diaries. Go on, it's only your time you're wasting! You'll also find a colection of links to other cool places (such as the Phoenix Fives website and forum) and to friends of the 'Fives. Oh, and before you go make sure you visit our sponsors section. These guys have been incredibly good to us and we promised we'd big them up. Go see what they've got and spend some cash!
Latest news (23/09/07): Yes, I know it's been a long time since the last update and we had promised that we were going to get more content on the site more often, but we've all been so busy having fun! So what's new in the land of Pheonix? The rollcage is in, the seats are fitted, the alignment has been done (thanks to Geoff at Holbrooks!) a little testing at Curborough a few months ago, she's been bathed and dressed and let loose on a fair few outings! Hell, we've even gone international! Yep, it's true, our very own black beauty has taken on the Green Hell and survived (with a few scars to prove it!) What's next for Raceworx? More track hoonery! We're at Cadwell in November and we'll no doubt find some other madness between then and now. Our good friends over at MX5Mad & Everything MX5 are having another open day this year. It's on the 14th October at North Weald airfield. We'll be there to show our appreciation for our sponsor. There will be a coned corse for you to test your driving skills, 1st Lotus also have a driving course available at a reasonable cost and Absolutely Shocks will be there, apparently doing allignment printouts. You can also check out and get passenger rides in the MX5Mad performance cars! There will be the usual parts for sale too and Karl and Russ around to put your questions too. Also, JIMParts are working hard on a prototype 'quick-release' hood for us so we can save some more weight on track! Keep watching this space for more developments as they happen! We've added a collection of photos and a few videos of the car and our antics; go check them out! Just for a little fun, I've decided that we should have ourselves a little caption competition! Post your answers here (you'll not win 'owt, but it'll be fun!).
Latest news (03/05/07): Well, it's been an interesting month (or so) here at camp Phoenix. We now have a new webmonkey in charge since our old webmaster has a number of work commitments that no longer allow him the time to keep this place updated regularly. Under my new democratic rule I've imposed a few design changes that hopefully freshen things up a little around here. If not, tough, I'm running the show (only kidding guys! If you are having problems with the site, drop us an email and I'll try to resolve the issues). More importantly, the Phoenix is rising! That's right, while our friends over in the Eastern Region were having more fun (more fun than what though? A badger? An aubergine? They're still pretty ambiguous as to who or what they're having more fun than!) the five of us have been hard at work. The car is off the axle stands and back on her (borrowed) wheels. She's running too, growling and snarling more than my ex-missus, thanks to a shiny new exhaust. After touring the country our roll cage has also arrived too! It wont be long before her big debut, so keeps your fingers on the pulse and an ear to the ground (alternatively, keep checking back here for the big announcement!) Y'all come back now, y'hear!?!?
