Phoenix Group Mission Statement

The Phoenix Group realizes that the newcomer is the most important element of any group. Our wish is for you to understand that 20 plus years of suffering is not necessary. It is our intent to demonstrate to the newcomer that recovery from alcoholism is attainable by having a spiritual awakening, which is the result of following the simple program of recovery outlined in our text. As stated in our literature a “God-Consciousness” is the essence of a spiritual awakening. Therefore it is our goal as a group to assist the newcomer in developing a relationship with God, as they understand Him, which will solve their problem.

Meeting Schedule

Friday-8pm Young People's Meeting at Broadmoor Christian Church, 6005 Youree Dr. Shreveport, LA

First Friday of the month the Shreveport/Bossier Young People in Alcoholics Anonymous Service Committee meets at 6:30pm at Broadmoar Christian Church. If you are interested in doing service work at any level please join us!
