Outside Edge
by Richard Harris
Spring 2011

Outside Edge is a play by Richard Harris about a cricket team trying to win a game of cricket while sorting out their various  marital problems.

Roger is the pompous captain of a minor Sunday League cricket team. He likes to think of himself as the 'driving force' behind the team, yet he isn't really much good at organization. Most of the real work is actually done by Roger's ever-efficient,long-suffering wife, Miriam.

Roger is trying to get a team together for the afternoon’s fixture against the British Railways Maintenance Division Yeading East, but his players are having problems of their own.  Bob is having marriage trouble, Dennis’s wife seems intent on moving house despite the fact they only moved recently, Kevin is trying to fight off his over-affectionate wife Maggie while at the same time nurse his injured spinning finger and Alex is ignoring his new girlfriend.

Even Roger's seemingly perfect marriage to his Miriam is on shaky  ground . . .

Prepare to Meet  Thy Tomb
A Comedy-Thriller
by Norman Robbins

Prepare to Meet Thy Tomb follows Tomb With A View and Tiptoe Through the Tombstones to complete the trilogy of plays from Norman Robbins about the family that play together and slay together: the murderous Tombs.

As night falls and fog descends on Monument House Hotel and Alternative Health Spa, Hecuba Tomb and her niece Drusilla receive a series of unexpected visitors. Novelist Philippa and her assistant Daphne are seeking refuge from a mysterious follower they fear may be the notorious "Norfolk Strangler". Hot on their heels come TV historian Quentin Danesworth and vacuous honeymooners Robert and Miranda. The uninvited guests are soon snooping around the secret passages of the creepy old mansion and asking too many questions for comfort.
Sure enough, one by one they fall victim to violent deaths by devious techniques — no secret panel is unoccupied, no cup of tea untouched, and nobody is who they appear to be.

This irresistible combination of spoof and baffling murder mystery, over-the-top characters and shocking plot twists will thrill and delight in equal measure.
