Maryanne Meyer, harpist, is an active orchestral and chamber musician as well as a solo recitalist both in the Philadelphia area and in her home state of Indiana. Maryanne serves as Principal Harpist with
Symphony in C in Camden, New Jersey, and appears frequently with the Delaware Symphony. An active competitor on the national and international level, she is currently preparing for the USA International Competition, to be held in Bloomington, Indiana in July 2010. Maryanne holds a Bachelor of Music degree and Performer Diploma
in harp performance from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana
University, where she studied with Distinguished Professor of Music
Susann McDonald. She recently completed her Master of Music studies at
Temple University's Boyer College of Music and Dance with Philadelphia
Orchestra Principal Harpist Elizabeth Hainen. She is thrilled to be a
founding member of the Philadelphia Harp Trio and for the chance to learn and perform quality chamber music with two of her best friends. |
