An instructional leader must have strong core values. My core values include respect, advocacy for diversity, honest and open communication, collegiality, and high expectations for both behavior and academics. These values drive my vision of proficiency for all and guide my resolve to instill active family involvement and participation. Working with diverse populations, enriched with various languages, cultures, and educational needs is truly an exciting and rewarding practice. My strength as a leader in student support and school climate allows me to build a respectful and reflective learning community; one that is informed by data and examines how instruction impacts student performance.
