PhiDE is comprised of men and women pursuing careers in medicine, and the organization is made up of both Medical School & Pre-med (undergraduate) chapters. The Delta Psi chapter at UAB is a medical school chapter, composed of medical students who have a demonstrated interest in leadership & service to our school and to our community; our motto is "Deeds not words." The Phi Delta Epsilon (PhiDE) interest group at the University of Alabama at Birmingham was formed in the fall of 2006. We received official status as a PhiDE colony and as a UASOM student organization in January of 2007. Like all PhiDE chapters, UASOM colony membership is open to all UASOM medical students regardless of race, sex, religion, nationality, or background. Goals
