  1. Q. What's the deal with username team sync on the back? 
    A. That's only necessary for users whom change their user name and team number in their folding client frequently. It allows the to update their widget accordingly. It was implement by request, however, I personally recommend opening more than one instance of the widget for each team/name you fold for and then you can track each one separately.

  2. Q. Why does the widget only update every 1 ½ hours?
    A. Because Folding@Home updates every 3 hours and there's no reason to overtax the site.

  3. Q. My widget shows 0's or NA in some fields?
    A. If it's for fields from folding at home you may need to give it time to update. If it's from your local computer, the fields may not be available for your Core or CPU. Some older folding clients and advanced units may cause display issues.

  4. Q. I have a field that has a “undefined?”
    A. This is an error, please notify us by email on the back of the widget or by the this sites name at gmail.com.

  5. Q. The widget show's an up arrow, but my rank number is lower?
    A. That's the way it suppose to work. You went up or down in rank by that much. An up arrow with a number means you've moved up in rank by that much. A down arrow and a number means you've gone down by that much.

  6. Q. My total score doesn't mach my user score?
    A. That's exactly the way it's suppose to be. It's an accumulation of all your points from the different teams you fold for . Unfortunately if you have the same user name as another user, it'll show their points in the total Work Units.

  7. Q. What is ETA?
    A. Estimated Time to Arrival or completion. This gives you a general estimate of when you unit will be finished folding.

  8. Q. My ETA date changes and I don't think it's accurate.
    A. It's accurate, but your processor usage changes throughout the day(s) and that's why there's fluctuation in the ETA date. The more you use your computer the more it'll fluctuate. In addition, the checkpoint time for your folding client will have an effect on the ETA date. Checkpoints range between 3 and 30 minutes, but the default is 15 minutes. 

  9. Q. I'm on Tiger 10.4.x and it's not getting my local stats. 
    A. With Tiger you must have spotlight turned on when you install the widget. However make sure it's not indexing your computer when you install the widget. 

  10. Q. The widget isn't working on Tiger 10.4.x. 
    A. The version that work with Tiger are 9.7, 1.0.1 and 1.1.7 and later. Version 1.0.2 to 1.1.6 didn't work with Tiger and I didn't have any beta testers for Tiger at the time.
