--- | October 26th, 2007: Gotta Love the $600 paperweight also known as the PlayStation 3!______________________ September 17th, 2007: Yay, it's here. :B______________________ September 6th, 2007: It's coming... ______________________ April 14th, 2007: You'll see..._______________________ September 6th, 2006 Well, College is here. You all know what that means! More excuses for not working on my comic. :D Woot. But seriously, I will get back on it when I don't have so much on my plate._______________________ August 3rd, 2006 Summer is well under way, and I am very lazy. So I'm putting the comic on a hiatus until I get some more motivation and such. :P Inspiration and whatnot. But it is far from dead, I have a whole .txt file full of ideas on where to take it and whatnot._______________________ May 29th, 2006 Work on the comic resumes! I'm trying a new style (smoother lines, at the cost of pressure-sensitive strokes). What do you think?_______________________ May 17th, 2006 Exams are around the corner, so I'll be a bit busy in the next weeks, but fear not, work on the comic progresses. :) (For my two whole fans who actually read it!)_______________________ May 8th, 2006 Guys, I'm sorry. There might not be a comic today. Get this: I lost ALL my bookmarks on my computer. And that is a lot. So now I'm busy trying to fetch them. But fear not, I have a comic in the works! No, this thing isn't dying; it is far from that. _______________________ May 7th, 2006 Weekends = break for the Comic dude. >.> You'll get your comic tomorrow! _______________________ May 2nd, 2006 I added a "Latest Comic" to the front page, and an archives link to the main page. I have a few ideas for future comics, too. _______________________ April 30th, 2006 I just got a great idea from my friend Jimmy. Instead of having "Next four Comics" and having the earliest-to-latest, I'll do the reverse and have the newest first, then have a button for "Previous four comics" and "Story Start" then I could easily make an idex page with each comic, and it's reletively painless. It'll just take a bit. I gotta do my homework now, so I'll get to that tomorrow. I may or may not have a comic tomorrow, but I'll try. Thanks Jimmy! :P Update: No, that won't work... I'd have to update each and every comic, every time I made a new one to "shuffle" down the comics in my archive by one. (Hard to explain). Guys, is there some kind of HTML comcic script out there or something? Because that would be VERY helpful. Thanks, -Sid / Lobo _______________________ April 29th, 2006 Well, I've slowed my pace on my comic a little bit. I'm going to try to do one or two a day, and eventually work my way onto one. I'm still trying to figure out how I can set my website up for comics... I'd like to have a "current comic", with the options to go back, forward, to the start, and to the archives. I'm not sure how I can set that up with google, though... It would take forever, creating a seperate page for each comic, then linking it to the main, then linking each and everyone to eachother... there has to be a simpler way. If anyone could point me in the right direction... maybe a script in HTML, or some pointers or advice, just drop me a line at pgroves@gmail.com _______________________ April 27th, 2006 Well, my comic is well under way. I hope people notice the link on the bottom of the page that brings them to a completely new page of comics... I'm signed up at "Comic Genesis", a free webcomic host. They have a silly setup though: First, you have to go through a complicated registration, and you must send a sample comic. If they like what they see, they off you to activate your account... (This takes around 3 days). Then you must wait a week for your password so you can start using it! Pah! Anyways, I'll stick with Google for the time being, and I might upload to my DeviantArt account. Yeah, I know... that was a shameless plug. Anyways, I'm constantly working on this site, and I'm doing a ne comic now and then - I have LOTS of ideas for the storyline. I just hope someone actually bothers to read it, heh. But that doesn't matter! I'm having fun doing it, and it's something to do in my spare time. :) _______________________ April 25th, 2006 Well, I've uploaded my 101th file onto this webpage... so I don't know what's up. I've started a new webcomic, and I've tried to get hosting on some webserver that's designed for comics. It's not too funny yet, and I have this feeling that it's going to follow the same gist as "Freefall" by Mark Stanley. (Which I have been reading quite a bit as of late). Oh well, just stick with me and we'll see where it goes. _______________________ April 11th, 2006 Well, I'm trying out this Google webpage thing. It's a bit simplistic, and it takes a while to get it to do what I like, but all-in-all I'm quite pleased. There is no limit on filesizes, and anybody can view any file, unlike some certain other websites. Unfortunately, I already hit Google's 100 files maximum before I even published my page! I hope it changes in the future. -Sid / Lobo |
