PSYCHIC- of or pertaining to the human soul or mind; mental (opposed to physical). outside of natural or scientific knowledge; spiritual.
GUIDANCE- providing direction
BENEDICTION- a solemn invocation of Divine blessing
According to Sigmund Freud (1856-1939, Austrian physician, neurologist, and founder of psychoanalysis) there are three parts that make up our personality, that make us who we are. There is the id, ego and the super ego. These factions make up how we see ourselves; how others see us and who we really are.
The "who we really are" is the spiritual side of us; the soul; that part of us that is made in the image of God. It is the soul that the psychic connects with to garner information to help our clients.
Each and every one of us has the mental side, the physical and the spiritual side. So, truly each of us has psychic abilities to varying degrees. Have you ever: had the phone ring and you knew who it was, had a dream that became a reality, known you were going to see or hear from a person and then you did, had a 'gut' feeling that something was going to happen; or said the same thing at the same time as someone else? These are all examples of psychic abilities. It is just that some of us have worked to develop and fine-tune those abilities; like an athlete we practice and practice at various methods until we can work well and consistently with them. Also, like an athlete we have areas of expertise or natural skills and abilities, which may come easier to us.
I feel I was destined to use these abilities to help others. To develop your psychic abilities you must be sensitive to vibrations of thought, sound, ideas, feelings and/or images appearing or floating around in your head. You must be sensitive to others. Sensitive to how they think, feel, act, and re-act. You must be sensitive to other's needs, wants and desires, and to all new ideas that come flooding into your mind. You must also be spiritually connected and grounded.
