I just completed the requirements for Field Instructor and Field Examiner in the EmComm continuing education program. The ARRL has  a  complete listing of instructors and examiners.

County Emergency Planning with Reggie Parks @ September 8th Meeting

During our regular meeting, Reggie Parks Director of the Office of Emergency Management will outline the county's emergency plans visa vise the National Incident Management System (NIMS) framework.

Spring training is in full swing, and here's what operators should be pursuing as training at a minimum:

ARRL ARECC Level 1

Red Cross Adult CPR/First Aid Basics

Red Cross Introduction to Disaster Services

FEMA IS-100A (Introduction to Incident Command System)

FEMA IS-200A (ICS for Single Resource and Initial Action Incidents)

FEMA IS-700 (National Incident Management System)
