Emergency Preparedness Tips

Membership in the PG-ARES/RACES includes completing the following
training requirements:
Amateur radio License FEMA Introduction to Incident Command System (IS-100)National Incident Management System (NIMS), An Introduction (IS-700)
Checking into at least 2 On-the-Air Training Nets per Quarter (please see the calendar) Acting as Net Control Station or Alternate NCS for a training net every 6 months These courses
are required by Prince Georges County to qualify for work at a county-administered emergency incident. Although not currently required, ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents (IS-200), may be required at some later time.
Please submit all certificates for completed courses to the Emergency Coordinator, James Montgomery WB3KAS
