First Monthly Family Night - Jan 10, 2012
'Through My Eyes' documentary
This will be the topic/video of our first White River Valley PFLAG mongthly family night gathering at my house. I hope you will join us January 10th for pitch-in snacks and a movie. My goal is 20 local parents, friends, family and community members.
Every Christian should see through their eyes. Some churches are at war over homosexuality. Will our youth be the casualties? Through My Eyes provides an unflinchingly honest look at the role of today's young Christians in the gay debate: what they really think, how they perceive the church, and what they wish other Christians knew. Over two dozen young Christians agreed to share their private feelings, struggles.

Popular Minister and Author Speaks at Local PFLAG Event
Spencer, IN - Reverend Jeff
Miner, author of The Children are Free
and pastor at LifeJourney Church in Indianapolis, was the special guest at the October
meeting of the White River Valley PFLAG on Sunday in downtown Spencer. The meeting was held at the Spencer
Presbyterian Church Cornerstone Hall and had been a well-publicized community
event.
The Reverend had
been invited to speak at this special PFLAG event as a part of Lesbian, Gay,
Bisexual, and Transgender History Month. It was one of several events coordinated by
White River Valley PFLAG and Spencer Pride Inc., both local not-for-profit
organizations based in Owen County. Just
