Philosophy:
Fourth grade is a year of change as children begin growing into adolescents. They learn and practice many academic and social skills to help them grow less dependent on others and more dependent upon themselves. In order to foster responsibility and organization, students are accountable for maintaining interactive notebooks and up-to-date planners. Skills include: note-taking, highlighting, summarizing, assembling foldables, and listening.
