About Me

Welcome to my homepage! I am a statistician, economist, psychologist, philosopher, and thinker. Accordingly, my work is truly interdisciplinary: I combine cutting edge causal methods (sometimes developed by myself) with insights from psychology, neuroscience, environmental sciences and economics to answer complex questions about human behavior, the society and the environment. Politically, I am a bit of an libertarian, a bit of an anarchist, a bit liberal conservative, and i guess a bit of an interventionist. When I don't work, you will find me either hiking in the mountains, or in a cafe reading a newspaper, or in the underground theater watching the latest cabaret.
