What's good y'all, Lyrics here. Okay this blog should've been up, but it wasn't so I'm blogging right now to update the blog about this blog that should've been blogged before. (follow me people... no Twitter) But, it's been awaited and people have asked me over and over... and over when this music video for "It's Going Down" is coming out. Now if you were paying attention, you'd know that it was ALREADY ANNOUNCED!!
Hey world Kennedy Here all in the mix!! Yo Lyrics remember how we made the event page on Facebook to announce the video? Son they actually had people on there click "NOT ATTENDING" Really?!! You're not attending a video premiere on your C O M P U T E R ? Its gonna take that much time out of your life of not-doing-nothingness to watch this boss don swagtastic fruit pie of a music video? I'm just sayin' you better have an orthopedic appointment with Jesus if you can't watch this video, son.
But you know what? THEIR LOSS!
(I'm feeling a tad bit wreckless at the mouth) They prolly the same people that didn't show up to the video because they where too busy talking about how fast and boring the summer was, right Lyrics?.... Lyrics, ya there?? Son, what're you doing isn't this you're entry??

What's good ya'll it's YA girl, Liv.
So it's a wrap on the "It's Going Down" music video, but we weren't gonna just stop at that! We have a whole album, and we striving for a video for almost EVERY song! The next one is for "I'm So Dangerous". Now this track is a little bit of techno-sounding, euro-up beat, pop-ish-- THE TRACK IS DOPE! That's it! Lo. But for real, This is one of the track where EVERY PEMG MEMBER IS ON IT! I'm especially hype cause Kennedy's back from FL you know what that means ^__^!
So for those eager to know. The shoot is tomorrow, Thursday, but sorry folks... it's a closed set. But that doesn't mean you won't know whats going on on the inside. That's right YA girl is gonna be blogging and keeping you updated from the inside.
P.S. I have no idea what to wear for the shoot. =/

As you may already know (if you don't I really don't know what you've been doing... square -__-), PEMG finished the video for their new upcoming single "It's Going Down". For you visual people... this doesn't really help you cause you need pictures, videos, a chalk board, things like that.
Here is how I'm going to set this up and make things live and interesting (it's a really cool scheme if you think about it). I'm only going to post the pictures and other media on the other blog site, petroleumempire.blogspot.com. Click on the link to see. BUT for the people who go on blogger.com first the info about each picture will be on PEMGonline.com so basically you'll have the pic on blogspot but the info on PEMGonline that way you can experience both blogs. Like that movie National Treaure (hence the title of this blog).
So here we go...
1. This is the cityline you can see from one of the video venues. If your from Staten Island you already know where it is. For those who don't we are at the pier near the Staten Island Ferry Terminal. This was basically the night shot for the video, I had a whole lot of fun there. We shot in front of the cityline and got a great background for the video.
2. (Excuse the facials lol) This shot was completly unplanned and it turned out AH-MAZING! See while we were shooting "the party" shot and the stadium near the ferry finished ther game and at the end of mostly every game they shoot fireworks... so what did we do? We took that lemon and made some kick butt lemonade.
3. Many Malz and his people in the town... Stapleton that is. This was a fun place to shoot, we had the cats from Rarebreed and Soldier out there reppin their squads and chillin with PEMG. This is actually the place where we had the basketball scenes, and let me tell you how BAD they were at playing ball. LMAO!!! It was so hilarious they made like 20 shot and none went in. Dunks, lay ups, all missed. Prop to them for trying though.
4. This is the lovely Ms Josie B, another blogger for PEMG. She definitely brought laughter to the video. Know that this girl can DANCE!!! You know the saying "Dance like no one is watching." well that's watch she does, and it was a joy for everyone. Josie made the video real cause yeah all of us were having fun but she definitely was having the most fun of all. I Love You Josie B <3!
5. This shot was me and Many Malz doing the playground shot in Stapleton. That was really fun and if you look real closely you'll see B-Marvel in the background doing pull ups on the monkey bars. Now that's getting FIT!!!! =D. You gotta do that these days... mean no one wants to be a blob. This scene was particularly fun cause we got to interact with all the people who came out that day they were real cool.
6. A candid shot of SITH and Josie B. Don't they look so cute... I think so.
7. This is Ms. Melanie, don't she look sweet. One of the lovely ladies that came out for the shoot and she was a lot of fun on set. Making jokes and having good energy. She was a little nervous about her dancing but when you see the video you wouldn't have know until I told you.
8. Who's that chick? La La la la, la la La La la. It's yours truly getting her sexy on in the water. I never knew how difficult it was to walk sexy in the water.... Video vixens, I salute you.
9. OMG, this girl was HILARIOUS. I'm talking about the lovely Mone. Now talk about bringing sexy back, Mo def did. She was sexy, fun, fierce, silly, and everything in between. In the behind the scene video you might here her belting out the chorus if "It's Going Down". ;-)
10. and lastly this pic if for the fellahs. A group shot of sexy ladies in swimsuits lol.
All in all the shoot was a success and the video came out oh-so dope. Oh! You thought the music video was part of this little treasure? Well, it's not. But good things come for those who wait, the Behind-the-Scenes videos is coming out soon so make sure yout on the scene for that and as for the video... patience is a virtue =)

Ok hold up, hold up, you already know who this is. This news is just too big I can't even finish the intro. As of today, the "It's Going Down" video is finished! After two days of shooting and two days
Yes, TWO DAYS!!
of editing, formatting, rendering, and other stuff that happens when you make a music video the music video is complete. Now I don't have the most insight on making videos (music or not) but I do know that most videos of this caliber can't be done in just two days. I mean honestly, Cypher Sessions takes longer to edit and those videos suck compared to this video!

I got some words for the people who didn't come to Cypher Session's first beach and bbq. YOU'RE LAMES!!!
This week's Cypher Sessions was a complete success and I'd like to say thanks to all who came out! We had food, football, barz, ladies in swim suits, all perfect ingredients for a perfect event! I had fun seeing everyone who came out and spit their 16s and entertain the rest of the park. We even went out to the beach to have a Cypher Sessions football game... NYOil 's team vs B-marvel's team, I was on Marvel's and we DEMOLISHED NY. I mean, yu can't mess with us, fam. We're UNSTOPPABLE!!! Don't NY, maybe next time =D.

Took us a minute but we're back with Cypher Sessions this Saturday, and we're coming back home to Staten Island. We understand, we've been kinda MIA for a minute but we're definitely making it up to ya'll cause THIS (yes THIS) Saturday is the Cypher Session Beach Party! The same as always come in love, spit fire, NO censoring, NO battling, just PURE emceeing!!! and not ONLY are we on the beach BUT we bringing FOOD too. I mean, it's a BBQ what more can you ask for. Have you ever heard the saying "every vote counts?".. well it does. This is very important people!! All of you PEMG supporters out there we need you guys to show and prove. PEMG just recently shot a video titled "Cypher Etiquette" and it is truly one of those "lmaooo" kind of videos. PEMG wrote, produced, directed, acted, and edited this video about various cypher scenarios. Not bad for a team of rapper huh? lol, This is a hilarious video and we need as many votes as we can get.
