My name is Natalie Lamb, and I am an extreme animal lover from Chattanooga, TN. I also love art, so the two just naturally came together. I started painting portraits of my own animals and grew to love it so much I decided to offer pet portraits to others. I have learned much through the help of other artists, books, and workshops. I am continually learning and improving my skills. I look forward to painting more pets in the future and hope my art will remind others of the joy animals bring to our lives.

 

 

This is my home studio that I work in each day. It’s so nice to have all my materials in one area. I was amazed at how much I had when I was setting up. I had materials stuffed under beds, in closets, and drawers. Now I actually know where things are. I also love all the natural lighting in the room. My cat, Sweetpea, keeps me company as I paint. I was reluctant to let her stay with me for fear of fur in the paint, but she’s happy just sleeping on the couch.
