The Gorilla & The Princess
Cheeto the mighty gorillla, was big in Monkey Town,
He was not so high and mighty, when other gorillas came around.
Cheeto loved to dangle, high up in the trees,
He would swing from branch to branch, doing as he pleased.
Cheeto had a little princess, she was pure and she was sweet,
With skin so fair and golden hair, she really was unique.
The princess was the only one, who knew the gorilla's worth,
She always kept a level head, she'd bring Cheeto down to earth.
Cheeto like to do gorilla things, or what he thought a gorilla should,
He'd upset the princess, every chance he could.
Cheeto liked to wind her up, he'd do it every day,
He would never listen, to the things she had to say.
No matter what went wrong, the princess got the blame,
Cheeto the mighty gorilla, he certainly was a pain.
Cheeto could be very nasty, when he flew into a rage,
The princess had to quieten him, and tell him to act his age.
He would tell her what to do, and herein lies the joke,
She would jump and do it, the moment that he spoke.
This is a fairy tale, as most childrens' stories are,
I think you'll like the ending, it really is bizarre.
When the princess was away, the gorilla had to take the blame,
He didn't like it very much, wasn't that a shame?
He missed his little princess, he enjoyed having her on,
The princess missed the gorilla, and the way things went so wrong.
The gorilla loved the princess, although he never told her so,
The princess loved the gorilla, but she didn't let him know.
Then one day it happened, it changed their lives forever,
No more would they tease each other, they got on together.
When they found each other, things began to change,
The gorilla with the princess, it seemed so very strange.
They were married and had some kids, I can hear your laughter,
This is a fairy tale after all, "and they lived happily ever after".
