The boys would like to thank Jim Beattie for coming along and taking them for an excellent training session.

A bit about Jim:

Celtic Career Review:

A left sided Glaswegian CBCer given an 'x-form' contract after starring in Scotland's march to the 1989 U16 World Cup final. He spent the following year with the youths and reserves and playing with Giffnock North (as was the fashion) before being handed a pro contract in July 1990. He was then loaned to Irish outfit Ballyclare Comrades before being released in May 1991 and heading to St Mirren. A couple of years at Love Street preceded a move to Albion Rovers via short trial stints in Finland and with Ayr United.

After leaving Rovers in 1995 Jim enjoyed a long and productive career in the 'Junior' ranks with Petershill.
