Description

An early bow by the great British maker with bunches of charm and a deceptive feel in the hand when being played.  As with many of his bows he employs a slight stain on the stick to even out the look.  This bow has all the hallmarks one would like to see on a good quality Tubbs.

Playing Characteristics

A typical fine Tubbs feel is a lovely thing to behold when playing, I especially like understated bows like this one that pack such a great punch when used.  Very maneuverable this is a bow that just plays and you dont need to consider issues such as control.  I feel that this bow is a bit of a bargain!

Condition

There is a small break in the stick in the upper half - only small and not visable to the eye.  This in no way changes the playing credentials it just makes a lovely bow more affordable to the busy violinist.  Otherwise this bow is in tremendous condition for its age and is a very honest bow from this great maker.
