Dr. Cancellier no longer practices in Encinitas, California. He sold his practice in 2007 after taking over another practice in Northern California. Then he elected to return to San Diego and let his daughter complete high school. He is teaching at USC and practicing endodontics at the office of Dr. Bill Dorfman in Century City, California. On weekends he plays music and enjoys his family.

Dr. Cancellier has lectured on endodontics for the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists, California Dental Association, Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, University of Southern California Continuing Education Program, Colorado Dental Association, Chicago Mid-Winter Meeting, Academy of General Dentistry National Meeting in Salt Lake City and San Diego, International Federation of Endodontists, Alpha Omega Dental Organization in Tel Aviv, Israel, Swiss Society of Endodontics, Paul Revere Dental Group, Ed Nutting Endodontic Seminar, and the San Dieguito Dental Study Club. Brazil too! Dr. Cancellier Loves To Teach Endodontics In October 2005, Dr. Cancellier presented on Surgical Endodontics for the USC International Endodontic Symposium. In January 2006, he presented at the Northern California Academy of Endodontics in San Francisco and the American Association of Endodontists meeting in March on Ultrasonics in Endodontics. In October 2006, he presented an all-day course on endodontics for the Harbor Dental Society in Long Beach. Also in October, he directed the Biannual Meeting as President of the California State Association of Endodontists, in Costa Mesa. January 2007 Dr. Cancellier was in Zurich, Switzerland where he lectured for the Swiss Society of Endodontics on Endodontic Surgery. In June 2007 he led an all day hands-on course training Academy of General Dentistry members on the use of microscopes in endodontics at the San Diego Convention Center. In the Fall of 2008, he presented Endodontic concepts at the UCSF School of Dentistry. In February of 2009 he was the keynote speaker to the USC Dental School Endodontic Alumni at their annual meeting.
