She has an A.A. in Transfer Studies and is studying for a B.A. in English from National University. In the future she plans on working more in film.

Krista has been in Residence at the UCROSS Foundation, Yaddo, and MacDowell. Krista is a graduate of Brown University and the 2007 Page 73 Playwriting Fellow.
