Action Learning Cycle


Action Learning Certificate - During the first three months of your Diploma pathway, this online training provides the basics of action learning, design process, documentation, and all the digital skils you'll need for the rest of the diploma.

Design Packet - made up of a permaculture design and documentation of your permaculture design process, along with personal learning reflections and a self-evaluation. Each Design Packet is reviewed by your local mentor. Ten design packets must be completed to receive a diploma through the DAPD system.

Local Enabling Organization (LEO) - A local permaculture organization or institute that decides to use the DAPD for ongoing permaculture education.

Permaculture Design Course (PDC) - The internationally-recognized 72-hour training in permaculture design. Taught by hundreds of practitioners around the globe in a diversity of formats and with a diversity of content, this course is the basic training and introduction to permaculture design.
