The Pendle Hotel is situated in the heart of the beautiful Ribble Valley, surrounded by gorgeous countryside, pretty villages and a wealth of history. Pendle itself is well known for its association with 17th century tales of witchcraft and the hill is an imposing landmark, conveying a brooding presence as the mist descends.
The hotel is a family run business and Naomi, family, management and staff extend a warm welcome to locals and visitors alike.
Built in 1846, the Pendle Hotel preceded the arrival of the railway by just a few years and still maintains much of its Victorian charm and character. In the Winter months, real log fires add to the cheery atmosphere.
The lounge bar, dining room, function room, games room, beer garden and toilet facilities are situated at ground floor level and are accessible from the generously sized car park. There is also an outdoor children's adventure play area at a lower level. Coach parties are happily catered for but please ring to give us notice of your arrival.
The function room is available for birthday celebrations, weddings and christenings etc and the well-equipped games room offers pool, darts and SKY TV.
