Mission of Pedeaux's Photos

    My photography is a bit different from what you'll find in other places around the city.  You won't find your generic photos of crawfish here.  As a local to New Orleans, I capture the city as I see it, and show it off in it's best light. A majority of my customers I serve are local because, I believe, that locals share my same appreciation for the city's various landmarks. 

    I've been doing this since before the Hurricane, but now since Katrina I think that my photos have taken on a new meaning.  I brought all my photos along as I evacuated, and now I can show New Orleans as I saw it before the storm. 

    Even now, though, I am still taking photos of all the great places still here in this city.  There is a beauty here beyond the flooded cars and the flood line that circles the city.  This is history in the making and here you'll find the photos documenting it. I'm inviting you along on my journey.
