Last day of the season, November 18th 2005, and it all came down to this game. Cork City FC had to win in order to be crowned champions. Any other result would have been enough for Derry. Cork City won and did it with style, in front of a capacity crowd.

The presence of a large Derry crowd made it one of the best atmospheres I've ever experienced at a football game.
