Peacham Library now has an online catalogue of our collection.  It is still a work in progress, containing titles for only about half our collection.  But, if you want to see if we have a new book that you'd like to read, or are curious as to what titles we have on a certain subject, the catalogue is the place to start.

 

Here are some quick directions to get you started:

1. Cick on this link to go to the LibraryWorld website. 
2. Enter Peacham as the user and Peacham as the password.
3. Type in a title (or partial title), and author, or keyword in the Search box.  If you'd like to limit what is being searched for (title, author, ISBN, etc), you can change that with the drop down menu that starts with All Words.  Click on Search when you are ready to start your search.
4. A list of all the related books will appear (10 per page).  Clicking on the title of the book will bring up more information about the book.  If we have already "automated" the book, on the right side Holdings will be 1 as will Available.  If Holdings is 0, it means we haven't gotten to that book yet (we've only done a first pass on Adult Fiction and Non-Fiction books).  You'll also see the the Call Number for a title that is "automated" so you know right where to look for a book.
5. To search for another book, just type in a new search phrase.  If you are on a page for a single book, you may need to click on "Return to List" first.
6. If you'd like to save a list of books you are interested in, click on "Add to Clipboard" (left side of screen) for each book.  When are ready to print out the list, click on  "Clipboard" (right side of screen).  Then either print this page for a simple list of title, author and call number, or click on "Report" to get a report with full details for each book.
7. When you are done just close the window.
