Organization Successes

We are currently developing two Projects, Zambia 2010 and Senegal 2011.

In 2009, Peace Care was voted 1st in Global Health in Ideas for Change in America on Change.org!!!  Peace Care was in the top 65 ideas out of over 7800 submissions!  We are aiming for a top 10 spot, overall, in 2010! Thank you for your support!

Peace Care is in the News!

How can you help?

1.  Sign up to Help!!!!  --  We are seeking students and professionals with experience in global health, residency administration, public health, Peace Corps, global communities, public health research, medicine, business, finance, education, information technology, grant writing, and law to help us move forward with the project of Peace Care.  If you are interested, please sign up to help and let us know in what capacity you may be able to join the effort!

What's next?
  • Establishment of Peace Care as a Non-profit
  • Pilot Project through an established Global Health Track and a Peace Corps Post
  • Collaboration with the World Health Organization Global Health Workforce Alliance

With nearly 5,000 children dying daily from diarrhea related illnesses; with HIV/AIDS ravaging communities worldwide and the under-recognized threat of chronic diseases overwhelming the health of the world's communities; with health disparities widening in all corners of the globe, there is a dire need to build healthcare capacity in low income countries.
