Hillsboro High Local Tournament 12/10/06

Great job team!!!  Congratulations on your Diector's runner-up award!  (I normally let the kids edit this half of the page, but I thought I'd fill in this week)

Next stop Liberty High School 1/13/07 for Oregon State Tournament.... - Coach Paul

Week 10

To avoid monotonous repitition of the words "this week", I have decided to start out this week's entry with the words above. This week, we worked on our stain-resistant fabric attachments and presented at OMSI. Oops- I missed something there, didn't I?

Anyway- Our presentation at OMSI went pretty well. We got a bit more work done on the research project and we informed some people about ORTOP and the FLL program. We met a lot of people who wanted to start a team, which was pretty cool.

Week 6

This week we completed another mission- the molecular motor.  We are also working on doing the self assembly mission as well.

                       - Jina

Week 3

Today we had decided on a team name; Nano Nites. We had reviewed some of the missions and brainstormed some ideas about it. We will discuss more about robots, the projects, etc. next week.

                       - Arthur

Week 2

Today we worked on finishing our lego models for the table. It took quite a while, but in the end we sucessfully finished them. We plan on designing the robot next.

 Week 1

This week we worked on building the mission models and made suggestions on the team name.  The names that we came up with are:

  • Nano Nites
  • Microminis
  • I don't care
  • I don't know

We will have a vote next week to decide which name we will pick.
