I would like to introduce you to the new political option in Canada, The People’s Democracy Alliance.

 

The Peoples Democracy Alliance’s goal is to bring government back to the people by presenting voters with an option that represents the views, ideas, and concerns of the communities that they live in, without worrying that they are going to be set aside in place of the party line.

 

The People’s Democracy Alliance is not a political party but instead a collection of independent local representatives including rivals within the same riding.

What we are after and stand for is a government that truly represents the wishes and concerns of the voters, instead of being driven by the party lines.

The intention is to eventually eliminate parties all together to be replaced with the Members of Canadian Parliament from the riding of…individual representatives that are only driven, and who’s best interests are in reflecting the common views, ideas, and concerns of the people that have elected them to be their member of parliament at all of the various levels of government.

 

For this reason the Peoples Democracy Alliance has no individual leader, we are made up of the leaders of the communities of our country, and believe that after we have elected the local representatives to the government, the people of this country should have the right to elect the leader of the Country a person that they will entrust with the duty of ensuring that all of the views, ideas, and concerns of  both the individual communities and of the entire country are fairly and equally heard and acted upon, this is true whether the individual that is elected to be the leader of the country is from within the P.D.A or not, as the person that is elected to be the leader of the country should be elected by the entire country, the election for the leader of the country should take place exactly One year after the general election (therefore the out going leader of the countries term will extend one year into the new term for the elected body of the house of commons). Both terms the General members of parliament as well as for the Leader of the country should be four year terms.

 

The Person that is elected to run the country should be charged with ensuring that Parliament is run with all members given equal and unbiased representation in all matters of the government as well as with each members rights and ability to vote on and put forward bills and ideas on any and all issue, with the basis of their actions solely on what is the best for their community, without any pressure coming from any source.

They should be in charge of selecting the members of parliament that they feel best suited to be the member of each seat at the cabinet as they are now and the cabinet should be charged with many of the same duties as they current hold, the main difference is that decisions on what passes through the house of commons and what doesn’t will be decided by a parliament that is going to weight out the option solely based on what it means for the people that they are there to represent.

 

The only way to do this is to eliminate the leader of a party as well as the power of the parties, and instead concentrate on the local representative, concentrate on ensuring that the voice of the people is heard in the actions of Government.

The People’s Democracy Alliance are seeking to reignite the interest and following in local politics by showing that it is possible for there to be a government that is a true and fair reflection of the people of each and every community, by showing the citizens of Canada that their vote not only counts but makes a big difference in how their Government is run, and by creating a electoral system where all potential candidates will have equal chance to put forth the rationale that they believe will get them elected by the citizens of their Community.

 

It will then be the job that each Potential Member of Parliament does while trying to get into, as well as once they are in office that will be the basis for their votes rather then it being based on the party that they are attached to.

The key to the Peoples Democracy Alliance is that we are not telling you to vote for one of our members, what we are after and what we are asking you to do it to vote for the person that best reflect your community as they are going to be and should be the person that is running in your community to represent you in your government, and we are simple saying that it is better if that person has your interest at the top of their list or priorities, so by voting for an independent representative you are ensuring that your member of parliament is there on behalf of your community, and is going to make sure that the views of your community will be voiced in the way the country is run.

 

The Elimination of corruption, misspending, and over spending are a key focus of the P.D.A. and for this reason the only mandatory rule involved in running under the People Democracy Alliance  is that we require that all of the members that are elected to office from the P.D.A  run not only a clean and ethical campaign, but they must also have a completely open book policy in both their financial, as well as non finically dealings, that pertain in any way or would conflict in any way with their position as a member of parliament and/or the Peoples Democracy Alliance, we believe that it is the peoples money and they should know where and on what it is being spent, and moreover we want you to know so that you have the information as to what your government is doing with the Taxes they collect, and we want you to see those taxes being used to the best of their ability.

 

High Taxes are the cost of a great country and the pay off should be excellent services in return, and though we are not a party and hold no power or control over our members as stated to run for government in Canada under the People’s Democracy Alliance members must be willing to commit to this level of transparent government.

Anyone is welcome to join the P.D.A there is no membership fee, and the only types of donations that are allowed are anonymous as we believe that there should be no sway from any direction in any form especially in the form of financial contributions.

The P.D.A. is here to give the independents in this country a chance finally to come forward and gain the seats, the power, and the control of government, once again putting the power to run the country back in the hands of the people, where it has always belonged.

The Peoples Democracy Alliance is about joining the independent candidates together without having to unite them in views, only in the commitment and passion of a better and brighter future for Canadian politics, Canadians, and Canada.

 

Together we can build a country that is truly for the people and by the people, a country that we can all be proud to say that we are a part of building, running, living in, and for once you can feel that your voice helped to make all of it happen.

The voices of the people will no longer be silenced, but instead looked to and requested.
