the Postcard Exchange
a monthly postcard exchange of artists
The Postcard Exchange began in January of 2001 with 22 artists. Lisa Hasegawa and Laura Reiter decided to begin the exchange upon completing their Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees; the exchange would serve both as a way to keep in touch with artist friends as well as acting as a monthly assignment to keep working after art school.
In December of 2004 the number of artists was cut down to an even 20. Members change almost monthly as members are replaced after missing two consecutive months.
