Commercial Exhibit Space Applications will be out in early 2010. 

            Thank you for your interest in our upcoming 2010 fair.  The Porter County Fair has two indoor exhibit areas.  The Commercial Building is an air conditioned, carpeted facility.  The Commercial Tent is an aluminum frame temporary building on a grass lawn.

            The Porter County Fair is eleven days long.  However, the commercial exhibits will only be open 10 days.  The first Thursday is a preview night and only the carnival and food vendors are open. 

            All interested vendors should fill out an application.  Applications will be reviewed in April and contracts will be mailed out.  Applications should be submitted as soon as possible to improve your chances of getting the spot you want.

2010 Prices:

            Commercial Building:

                        Air Conditioned, Carpeted Facility

                        8 feet deep by 10 feet wide increments

                                     $TBA for a corner, $TBA for an inline.

            Commercial Tent:

                        Aluminum Frame Temporary Building, on Grass Lawn

                        15 feet deep by 10 feet wide minimum

                        Sold in increments of 5 feet.

                                    $TBA per square foot.  ($TBA for a 10’ X 15’)

            Electric:

                         $40/fair for 110V, $80/fair for 220V

  • NO FREE FOOD OR DRINK is to be given away in this rented space without approval from the Commercial Building Coordinators and/or fair board executive committee.
  • Public address systems will not be permitted in booths.
  • Material used for the booth construction will be at the expense of the lessee and removed no later than 3:00 p.m. on Monday, August 2, 2010.
  • Booths must be manned during all hours the building is open.
  • All cancellations must be in writing to the Porter County Agricultural Society prior to June 18th, 2010.
  • The Porter County Agricultural Society agrees to furnish the space contracted unless circumstances beyond their control prevent them form doing so.
  • No alcoholic beverages will be permitted in the exhibit building or on the grounds during the fair.
  • No smoking will be permitted in the exhibit building.
  • No raffles are permitted on the fair grounds at any time. Free drawings are allowed, but no raffles where money is exchanged.
  • No booths are to be closed or taken down prior to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, Aug 1st.
