What do about my fax machine after I cancel my land-line phones?

Faxing alternatives to land-line fax machine:
Receiving faxes: efax.com is FREE fax to email service.  You will get a fax number in another state(area code) for free and when a fax arrives it is sent to your email as an attachment which requires a free viewer program to view the fax and print it (if needed).  To download: https://selfservice.talisma.com/display/2n/kb/faq/viewArticle.aspx?qid=1616&aid=2846

Sending faxes:  Fax1.com set up an account and 12 cents per page sent. (I haven't found a good free one, yet) You can send the fax by sending an email with the document attached as an attachment.  I highly recommend doing pdf documents, so that 1 page sent will = 1 page received.  You can create pdf's for free by downloading PrimoPDF (see below).  There is another way to send the fax (through fax1.com) too with a free download: http://fax1.com/faxblaster_dl.html

PrimoPDF.  Create PDF's totally FREE It's a printer driver, so if you're in Word, and you print and you select PrimoPDF as the printer, then follow the prompts to create the pdf and save to your pc.  Click HERE to download.
