Data...

It's not a "Four-Letter Word"!

If you're looking over your Big Five Graphs (Per Day, Behavior, Time, Location, Student) here are some guidelines to help you plan:

FOCUS on the SCHOOL-WIDE SYSTEMS if...more than 40% of students received 1 or more Office Discipline Referral (ODR)...or if there are more than 2.5 ODRs per student

FOCUS on the CLASSROOM SYSTEMS if...more than 60% of referrals come from the classroom...or if more than 50% of referrals come from less than 10% of the classrooms

FOCUS on the NON-CLASSROOM SYSTEMS...if more that 35% of referrals come from non-classroom settings

FOCUS on SECONDARY GROUP INTERVENTIONS...if more than 10-15 students receive more than 5 ODRs

FOCUS on INDIVIDUAL INTERVENTIONS...if less than 10 students receive 10 ODRs...or if less than 10 students continue the same rate of referrals after receiving targeted group supports
