January 25-27 Youth at Council, Roanoke: The youth packaged over 40,000 meals through the organization, Stop Hunger Now. We learned much about the MDGs or Millennium Development Goals.
We also learned about an organization, ONE, where people are joining
together as ONE: "one person, one voice, one vote at a time - to make a
better, safer world for all." You can go to the ONE website to learn where the presidential candidates
stand on issues related to eliminating world poverty, to sign the
pledge, and to see what others are doing to fight world poverty.
