This site is dedicated to the medical staff and support personnel at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, New York. It is also supposed to be a place for anyone newly diagnosed with leukemia to get information from someone who has personally experienced the whole process from diagnosis to remission. I will attempt to include as much factual information as I can. Understand that the information here has been gathered from my experience with leukemia and chemotherapy and some of the side effects may or may not be experienced by everyone. I was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in October 2002 and underwent three rounds of chemotherapy to reach remission.
