Our trip to Alajuelita, Costa Rica will be part of a partnership between CCA and East 91st Street Christian Church.  One of our main goals for the two teams that will be going this December is to build 12 houses in 12 days.

As we get ready to go to Costa Rica, the residents of the new homes we are building are tearing down their current homes.  Usually they will sleep outside, while we finish their new home.  Maria is working right now to help tear down her existing home.  Her house will be replaced with a "Yellow Smart Model House" with three rooms, a wood floor and a roof that does not leak -- all for $3,300!  What a bargain! 

Jessie's house has been washed out by the rain.  His home is one of the 12 homes we will be building in December in Alajuelita, Costa Rica.

The people of Jasmin are excited about the impact that these homes will have in their community.  These homes can house up to 5 people each.  Right now several volunteers are working to put together the panels.
