Description : This project was developed to provide internet access and services, over dial-up, without the necessity of a previous contract with the Internet Provider. A special line of telephone (similar with the toll-free– 0800) and an URA (Unity of Audible Recognizing) gave to the users the possibility of using the internet and buy products and services paying through their telephone bills or using a prepaid card.
This system was adapted and today is used in some Free Internet Providers to allow that some services or content be rewarded.
