Paul D. Werner, Ph.D. is a Professor in the clinical psychology Ph.D. program at the San Francisco Bay campus of the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) of Alliant International University. He received his Ph.D. degree in 1976 in psychology of personality from the psychology department of the University of California at Berkeley, where he worked at the Institute of Personality Assessment and Research (now the Institute of Personality and Social Research). Prior to joining CSPP in 1982, he served as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Rutgers University, as an Associate Research Psychologist at American Institutes for Research, and as a Research Psychologist at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Palo Alto, CA. Dr. Werner is a licensed psychologist in the state of California. He is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association, the Society for Personality Assessment, and the Western Psychological Association.
