AskPaul is a multithreaded program that runs as a service in the background of any windows machine and indexs every public share on the network the computer is a part of.  There is NO information sent back to any server of any kind, and once again, it is completely free!  Packaged with it is a website interface.

Simply make sure that a few windows components are currently installed AND enabled

• Windows IIS with the .Net Framework 2.0
• Windows indexing service
• Talk to your IT group to make sure it is ok to host a site like this on a company pc!
• Detailed Instalation information, as well as the program download,  can be found in the Install Guide.

All software is presented "AS-IS" and I make no claims that there are no bugs.  It is NOT malicious, and it is NOT a threat to confidentiality.  Make sure that your fellow employees know that very soon, all *PUBLIC (and *public only) files will be indexed and searchable.
