Pat Howey has four adult children, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Several have disabilities. Pat became involved in special education when her youngest child entered the public school system in 1985. She specializes in dispute resolution and parent training. Pat has an A.S. and a  B.A. in Paralegal Studies and is a member of the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates and the Wrightslaw Speakers Bureau.
