Home

University of South Carolina's only student organization for atheists, agnostics, freethinkers, secular Humanists and skeptics.

Feeling lost in the Bible belt?

Fear not, because if you don't believe in a god, you're not alone!

Even in the buckle of the Bible belt, South Carolina, there exist numerous ethical, upstanding and good citizens who proclaim no faith in a higher power. In fact, people who checked the "non-religious" box on the last American Religious Identification Survey are the fastest growing minority, and the only minority which grew in every state. Clearly, efforts from secular organizations such as ours are reaching out and contributing to this exciting zeitgeist of secularists who are not afraid to come out and be counted as a legitimate population in America. Come join us today to continue the Humanist tradition in our community of Columbia, SC. All students are welcome!

Pastafarians at USC is a multipurpose organization for atheists, agnostics, skeptics, freethinkers and the collectively known “non-religious” students at USC. Major goals and agendas include having like-minded fellowship, providing a supportive community for the non-religious, combating religious bigotry with comedic relief, promoting pride in our beliefs and convictions, safeguarding the wall of separation of church and state, as well as doing community service in the name of Humanism.
