When other teachers ask me why my students get good marks on tests and why they love my classes, I say that I put everything into my classes."
Passionate teaching can be learned.
 After all, in many religions there are practices that faithful people practice in order to get closer to a holy or sacred or spiritual state of mind. In the same way, teachers who are NOT passionate about their work can become passionate just by copying a passionate teacher. Maria Teresa does not fully agree with "Steve's Theory of Duplicated Passion," (some teachers just don't want to pick up the new methods) but that is why we created this Institute: to share our methods with other teachers who want the magic that takes place in our classes.

My Hotmail Account Was Suspended.
My Hotmail Account was closed.
I was informed by Microsoft that my account had been reported for "undeliverable email addresses" -- apparently, this is a sign that I was sending spam, "unwanted or unsolicited email messages" so my account was shut down. Over 500 email addresses of my students. Gone. A request for me to submit an article to a teachers' journal -- gone.
Here is an example of this sort of message to Microsoft and then the reply from a technician:
dirtytattman My account - {removed email address} has been suspended. I need help to get it back online as I use it daily. PLEASE HELP ME an alternate address to send me info on how to get my account back is: {removed email address} REPLY by Windows Live Ricardo D. : Dirtytattman, I've checked your account and verified that it is closed. Please report this to the Windows Live Hotmail Customer Support Team by sending an e-mail to abuse@hotmail.com. ============ Does abuse@hotmail.com ever reply to emails? I don't know. I've written a dozen times to this email address and I have not received a reply. So I'm putting this information in my blog and on my website and it will remain here until I get my account back. SteveEnglishTeacher@hotmail.com. Gone. Very sad teacher.
