Passages Malibu Scam Prevention Question number 1:

Do you believe in the disease concept of addiction? If they say yes, then I would eliminate them right away. If they subscribe to the disease method it means that they will not focus on healing the underlying conditions that are causing you to use.

Passages Malibu Scam Prevention Questions number 2:

Will you label me an addict or alcoholic upon entering your program? If they say yes, I would eliminate them as well. Telling, someone they are an addict or alcoholic only reinforces addiction and does nothing to heal the underlying conditions that are causing you to use.

Passages Malibu Scam Prevention Question number 3:

How many hour long, one-on-one sessions will I receive with a therapist during my stay? If the answer is less the 40 hours, I would move on because this is most likely a group meeting facility.
