Welcome to the cubbyhole of the Technofreak. This is another endeavor to make my presence in the web, in addition to my weblog.

Am starting this just to test Google Pages as well as to test how creative am given a WYSIWYG Editor. Will try my best to improve the look and feel of this insignificant cubbyhole.

Am a Free Software (Geek?) Enthusiast and GNU/Linux user for past 5 years. I work as a Python (Web) Developer, though my work also includes advoacy, training and mentorship. I travel once in a while to many colleges ain Tamil Nadu as well as around India, advocating FOSS and GNU/Linux.

Am also an enthusiastic Photographer, aiming to raise my standards to a Professional Photographer (Pro) sometime in future.

I am a Bach. of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics from Anna University and I did my B.E. at Dr. M. G. R. Engineering College, Chennai. My schooling were at Hindu Senior Secondary School, Triplicane and P. S. Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Mylapore.

During my school days I was an active member of Boy Scout Movement as well as managed to get a A certificate in NCC - Junior Boys, Army Wing (R & V). During college days I was a lead organizer for technical and non-technical events. I also contributed as a member of IEEE Madras Section's Newsletter Editorial Team.

Books are my first love and I have a huge collection of technical books with me and still wish to increase them. I spend a part of my earnings to buy new books every month and thus, my collection steadily grows day by day. I am also a fan of Fiction novels, especially Robert Ludlum.

Though I do not watch much of television, I have the habit of hearing to Malayalam songs in my World Space Radio. I occasionally listen to Tamil songs when something sounds melodious.
