"Your money does not cause my poverty. Refusal to believe this is at the bottom of most bad economic thinking."
"We borrowed golf from Scotland as we borrowed whiskey. Not because it is Scottish, but because it is good." -Horace Hutchinson | Salesmen and lawyers. Is this your idea of hell? It makes up the vast portion on my workday. I am especially fond of the dirtbags from IBM and Microsoft. The old sage stands true. "How do you know they are lying? Their lips are moving." The commercial software industry needs to extract their heads from their posteriors. They are doing everything it their power to alienate their customers. Were we not captive customer, they would be out the door with no oppportunity ever to enter again. Banished, banned, barred for all eternity. Not sure how these folk sleep at night. It kinda makes me wonder if it is not a symtom of what truelly ails our society or if it's "just business".

"The computer allows you to make mistakes faster than any other invention, with the possible exception of handguns and tequila."
"So many people tiptoe through life, so carefully, to arrive, safely, at death." -- Jermaine Evans War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature, and has no chance of being free unless made or kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. - John Stuart Mill |
