Welcome to the Park View PE Department Homepage

This website will help all students who take part in PE lessons at Park View School.  It will allow you to access work, lesson powerpoints, links to exam websites as well as team news for the various school teams. It will also help you to assess yourself against the National Curriculum Levels as well as the requirements to achieve particular gradings at GCSE.

We believe that all students at Park View can achieve their potential by giving their best effort in lessons while enjoying a range of diverse sporting experiences. We actively encourage students to join any of the extra curricular clubs that are held at lunchtimes and after school.

There are opportunities to select JSLA (Junior Sports Leaders Award) PE as an extra option in years 10 and 11 and the also the popular academic GCSE PE course through years 10 and 11. In addition, CSLA (Community Sports Leaders Award), AS and A2 PE are extremely popular and successful courses in the sixth form.

The department consists of 7 members of staff who all have different areas of expertise. You will gain opportunities within the school to improve your skills, techniques and fitness in a vast range of different sports and activities.

We have a number of highly successful school teams both at North Lodge and Church Chare and regularly have individuals and teams represented at district, county, regional and even national levels of competition.  Follow the link below to find out all about our extra-curricular clubs!
