If your family is in the WIC program, you may use your vouchers for produce at our market. Seniors (60 and older) may be eligible for free food under the Commodity Supplemental Food Program. Chef Herb carves a watermelon flower DIRECTIONS: Via Public Transportation: Take the Metro to the Minnesota Avenue Station on the Orange Line. Cross the Pedestrian Bridge in the direction of Kenilworth Avenue. Turn left on Kenilworth Terrace, and walk one block to Burnham Place NE. You'll see our tents set up at the corner of Burnham Place and Kenilworth Terrace NE. Via Car: Parkside is easily accessible from DC-295 / Anacostia Freeway. Driving north on DC-295, take the Minnesota Ave / Burroughs Ave exit. Turn left on Nannie Helen Burroughs Ave, then a quick left again at Kenilworth Avenue. Drive 1/2 mile down Kenilworth Avenue, turn right on Hayes St NE. Drive one block on Hayes, turn left on Kenilworth Terrace. You'll see the Market at the corner of Kenilworth Terrace and Burnham Place NE one block down. Driving south on DC-295, take the service road exit for Hayes St NE.
