The following Parentcrew Board positions are open for the upcoming 2009-2010 school year:
Community Events Officer - The committees that fall under this Board level position are: Dad's Club, Green Committee, Parentcrew Ambassador, TAS Student Ambassador, and the Spring Carnival. All committees have currently have Committee Chairs in place except for the Dad's Club and the Spring Carnival.
Communications Officer - The committees that fall under this Board level position are: the newsletter, "Panther Tales" and the student brag publication, "Panther Pride." Eventually we would like someone to take over updating the Parentcrew Blog and Knowledge Bank as well.
The following Parentcrew Committee positions are open for the upcoming 2009-2010 school year:
TAS Book Fair Chair - This committee level position organizes/schedule volunteers for the week of Book Fair.
Fall Fundraiser Chair - This committee level position oversees the Sally Foster Wrapping Paper and Entertainment Book fundraiser during the 1st week of school.
Green Committee Chair - This committee level position will kick off a "Green" initiative at TAS.
Dad's Club Chair - This committee level position will host 3-4 meetings a year for Dad's who would like to get more involved in the school. The group could also provide set-up/clean-up assistance for various Parentcrew events throughout the year. Eventually, we would like the Dad's Club to host the Spring Carnival each year.
Spring Carnival Chair - This committee level position will host, plan, and organize the Spring Carnival held the last day of school. |
