Summary:

Imagine what it would be like to discover you aren’t the person you thought you were.

Bobby Pendragon was living the life of a normal 14 year old guy, until his Uncle Press appeared with a mission: protect all of time and space from a demon named Saint Dane, a cold-blooded villain who wants nothing less than the dismantling of  humanity. The only force standing in Saint Dane’s way is a mysterious group of people called Travelers, and Bobby is surprised to discover that he is one of them.

The amazing truth behind this battle for time and space gradually unravels  for Bobby over the course of the Pendragon books. Along the way, he encounters the kind of nail-biting, hairy adventures that he used to love to watch in the movies, but finds that in his new life, they  could not be more real.

Book 2:  A few minor curse words such a D***, H***, and A**.

Book 4: A few minor curse words such as D***, H***, and A**.

Violence:

Book 1: Minor. There is some bloody scenes such as a monster bear eating a man, (does not go into details) but nothing much more violent then that.

Book 2: There is more violence in this book book than the first one. There is a poison that is going through a huge city. It kills everyone in the city.

Book 3: Much of the violence in this book is based on real events, since it is set in the past. The most violent part of the book is the crash of the zeppelin Hindenburg.  It does not go into details about this.

Book 4:  I would not say that it is best so far in the series, but it was definitely a good book. Again, D.J. Machale has created another world that is just completely genius.

Did I like this book?

Book 1: The Merchant of Death is a good book. I would not call it great, but as the series goes along it gets better and better. It was well written well, and was very exciting. Just the first book alone,

Book 2: I enjoyed this book much more then the first one. It was very clever and imaginative. In the book there are ten different worlds. The main character "Travels" to each one. The technology and different life styles of each one is very original. This is a good read, and if you are reading it I recommend you read the whole series.

Book 3: Like I said in my review about The Merchant of Death this series just gets better and better. I spent an enjoyable Saturday reading this entire book. It was very good, much better than the last one

Book 4: I read this book on CD. Never read the Pendragon series on CD.  The reader is not good at all. If you have a choice, read it from the book. Now, if you are reading the book, it is great.
